Rules
& Regulation
-The competition is open to concert guitarrists world wide
who do not exceded the age of 33 on the 22 September 2010.
Those candidates who have won the First Prize will not be
able to participate.
-The competition will be held at Buenos Aires city during
the days 22, 23, 24, 25 and 26th September 2010.
-The auditions Classificatory and Semifinal will take
place in the Pabellón de las Bellas Artes of the
Universidad Católica Argentina (UCA) (Alicia Moreau
de Justo 1500, Puerto Madero), on the 22, 23, and 24
September. The timetable will be confirmed to the
contestants by an e-mail.
-The final of the competition will take place in the
Auditorium of the School of Law of the Universidad de Buenos
Aires on the 26 September 2010 at 6 p.m.
-The presentation and the draw to determine the order of
participation will take place on September 22th at 9 am in
the Pavillon of the Bellas Artes (UCA). Those participants
who fail to appear would be eliminated.
-The competition consists of three parts
1st PART
(Classification): September 22th and 23th
for all the participants.

(Semi-final) September 24th for classified
guitarrists. Obligatory works: (four)
- Johann Sebastian Bach: One Prelude of the Suites for
lute,
violoncello or clave

3rd PART
(FINAL) September 26th for the three finalists.
The guitarrists must choose one of the following obligatory
works:

guitar and orchestra

Zuker: Concierto Argentino “María Luisa Anido”
to Guitar
and Orchester

* The obligatory Works will be provided only to those
registered in the Competition.

-The enrolment fee is $150 (pesos argentinos) for
argentinian contestants or U$D 60 for foreigners and must be

during 2011).

** Certificate and Concert in V Encuentro Anido Buenos
Aires 2011
-The concerts will be performed on dates and concert halls
to be established by the Organizing Committee within the
argentinian Republic radius. However, this commitment does
not include any travelling expenses for foreigner
contestants from their city or country of origin. The
remuneration for the concerts given will depend on the
current regulation of each theater.
-Travelling, housing and maintenance expenses will be paid
by the candidates. From September 25th onwards,
the competition will pay housing and maintenance expenses to
the semifinalists until their participation. Opcion for the
participants only.
-On the amounts granted as awards there will be a tax
deduction according to the current legislation.
-The Organizing Committee will not be responsible for the
changes of dates or cancellations of the Prize concerts.
-The Jury will be made up of argentine and foreign musicians
of acknowledged trajectory. Their decision will be
unappealable and their names will be made known a month in
advance, at the beginning of the competition. In the
presence of a student or ex student, no member of the Jury
will be able to vote.
-The candidates must renounce all recording and image
rights during the event.
-Participants must abide that the rules of the competition
and the decision of the Jury is final.
-The
Organizing Committee is not responsible for what is not
specified in the rules. |
